One of his earliest grouses at the campus was “people call me Singh; why not Kitty or R. P. ? And ever since he has remained "Kitty'- one of the most liked persons on the campus. He is in many ways an 'unsurdisurdi'; his manners are mild (almost effeminate ), he is intelligent, keeps away from the entanglements of athletics and sports-one could never catch him participating (even in the shouting ) on the grounds. And he is at his best when he comes out with his surdi jokes. If an award was instituted for the highest attendance to C. P. ratio, Kitty would have walked away with it. He prefers bulling to playing bridge. It look a course in IPR for us to realise that Kitty could even get angry.
