Food Technology was his academic specialisation but football and tennis were his forte until Fate flipped him over during a match and bust his ankle. After which his more sedentary pursuits earned him the position of Indinman's Cartoonist-in-Chief and usually in trouble since his editorial deadlines were always close shaves – with which he was quite unfamiliar (see photograph).
