Joined IIMA after doing BE from Nagpur & M Tech from IIT Mumbai and having worked in Tata Motors for about 3.5 years. 

 

I was already married when I took the decision to join PGP.  My daughter was born when I was at IIMA. The intention behind joining PGP was to study at the best Management Institute in India with the best brains as classmates. I was not disappointed finding both during the PGP course.      

 

I decided to deliberately pursue a career in Production & Quantitative area to do justice to my deep interest in Technical matters and my earlier background. My wife Alaka is Post Graduate in Statistics and was teaching in academic institutions while very efficiently looking after our family. I continued my Techno-Commercial career till retirement. On finishing the employment, I started consulting in areas mainly related to mentoring and Business Development.  

 

My children are all married and settled with 2 kids each. I spend my time with family, friends and my work. We travel regularly to places of interest and to meet our grandchildren. My wife has varied interests in reading, embroidery, knitting etc. 

 

We have a large circle of friends and enjoy life. We support our children’s families whenever necessary and rest of the time in Pune. Picture shown the current status of the family. At the institute I was I D4 in both the years and popularly called as “Uncle” . Those PGP years were the Golden Years of my life.
