After graduating from IIMA, joined Kothari (Madras) International Ltd. as Executive-Exports and was looking after their seafood and garments division for 2 years.

 

Later I joined Mysore paper mills ltd (manufacturers of Writing, Printing and Newsprint) as marketing executive. Was based at mill site at Bhadravati for 2 years and later at Bangalore. I was with MPM for 18 years. Quit MPM when I had been holding the post of Chief Marketing Manager for 4 years.

 

Promoted a Co. by name Prominent (I) Pvt Ltd with 2 other Directors. Involved in manufacturing Mechanical Lab Equipment for Engineering Colleges. Products included Steam Lab (Boilers, Turbines etc.), CNC Trainer lathes etc. We also had a Agency Division representing Fischer Scientific - USA, Prominent CFG - W. Germany and a few other companies.

 

Simultaneously I floated another company by name Nashco Chemitech (P) Ltd. manufacturing liquid fertiliser for drip irrigation as well as foliar spray.

 

All activities came to stand still during 2012 after I fell seriously ill. (Diagnosed as TTP, a blood disorder and later a spine surgery).

 

I have a 15 acre Coconut Farm, with farm House about 100 kms from Bangalore. I also grow Banana and grapes (now removed).

 

Got married to Bagya in 1981. Have a daughter, Nandeeta who did her MBA from Deakin Univ. Melbourne. Working with ANZ Bank in Melbourne. My son Akash has completed BBM and is going to UK for higher studies in Feb.
