After graduating from IIMA I was with Larsen & Toubro for almost 25 years, the last 6 years of which was with L&T’s Power Division. In 2002 I joined Dodsal Engineering & Construction in Dubai as Senior Vice President & Country Manager. On my return to India in 2007, I took over as the President & CEO of Gherzi Eastern Limited, a design engineering organisation and the South Asian subsidiary of Gherzi AG, Zurich, Switzerland. It is ironical that in spite of not being an engineer I worked with engineering companies for the entire span of my professional career!

 

These days Kalpana and I travel often - exploring new destinations and visiting our daughter Mohini who has done her Ph. D in Engineering in the US and currently works there.
