Started my career with Rallis India in 1976 and moved on to SPIC at Chennai in 1981 in the field of fertilizer/agrochemical marketing.

Enjoyed exciting regional postings at Hubli, Vijayawada and Bengaluru before getting elevated as Joint General Manager in Tamilnadu Petro products, a SPIC group company in 1991.

Joined Reliance Industries, Mumbai as Business head of Petrochemicals from 1998 to 2007 before moving to Qatar Petroleum, Doha in 2007.

Spent 8 wonderful years in the gulf, setting up strategy and infrastructure for Petrochemical marketing on the professional front and guiding younger NRIs to cope with challenges on the personal front.

After retirement from Qatar in October 2015 moved to Mumbai and that is where I am at present doing some lightweight consultancy work
