After a brief stint of 3 years of Marketing in India, I moved to Zambia in Southern Africa and stayed there for 12 years as a Project Manager and Factory Manager. I came back to India in 1991. Since then, I have been self-employed as Consultant in Market Research, Project Feasibility studies, Project execution and as a Visiting Faculty.

I have been a visiting faculty for over 20 years at various institutes of Symbiosis and IIM Indore in Marketing, Project Management and Services Marketing. I have published one textbook on Services Marketing with the Oxford University Press in India and another e-training book on Project Management for Larsen and Toubro. I am a corporate trainer in various disciplines and I work as consultant for executive assessment on behalf of other consultants.

Our elder son Kumar works with Citi Bank in London as AVP and the younger Sushil works as researcher in Public Health. My wife Ranjana has been my companion and home manager for all of the 40 years.

I have managed to keep my sports spirit alive by Cycling, Playing Badminton and Walking. I have done some epic Bicycle trips all around the country including Leh – Khardungla – Shrinagar and from Kochi to Munnar and further on Kodaikanal ending at Coimbatore in February 2016.

I continue to remain partly busy with the consultancy and teaching work with the balance spent in company of good friends and outings.
