CHANDRAMOULI S. (MOULS)
D03

Worked with ACC in Mumbai for a couple of years after graduation from IIMA before migrating to the US. Was a Consultant to the World Bank (travelled to Washington) for a couple of years while I got an MBA from the University of Chicago (honestly, gave up on my Ph D ambitions as I caught the Consulting and travel bug with the World Bank). Also got certified as a CPA from the State of Illinois.
Have lived in 3 cities in the US with significant global travel on the job : Chicago 6 years, Houston 5 years and Denver for the last 27 years, and have basically worked for 2 consulting companies: American Management Systems (now CGI) for 30 years in two stints and Deloitte.
Now serving as Corporate Senior VP at CGI assisting global Business Units in their operations and large scale pursuits. Headed up the CGI operations in India for about 10 years (basically travelling between the US/Canada and India) growing the operation from about 800 to about 12,000 professionals before returning to the US earlier in 2016. Was also a Partner with Deloitte for almost 6 years in between my AMS/CGI stints.
With both companies, I provided consulting services to both public and private sector clients and also managed/oversaw many very large scale projects including IT projects. I continue to enjoy my work but retirement is clearly close at hand. You know about my passion for sports. I took up Golf and Tennis along the way but at this age, watching sports and reading are my primary recreations. I would like to get back to playing golf/bridge as I retire.
Family: Lucky to have a wonderful and supportive family given my global travels and round the clock work routine. I have had to make it up to them with multiple travel vacations across the globe over the years. My wife Janaki has had to bear the burden of taking care of the family, including taking the children to on an annual pilgrimage to India to visit grandparents, etc. during their pre-college years.
We have three children:
Radhika is an MD from Temple University in Philadelphia. Doing her medical residency in Family Medicine at York Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Ranjana did her Chemical Engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology (Indiana) and is working as Process/Production engineer at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. With 3 years of work experience behind her, she is now interested in attending an MBA program.
Rohith is finishing his B S in Physics and Astronomy and is interested in graduate studies and a potential career in academia. So much for the teaser, more in person.
