Abhaya Jain retired in 2005 after having spent 29 years in various international companies in the financial sector. At Bank of America he worked in Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Manila and Jakarta and was Senior Vice President and Country Manager for the Philippines and Indonesia successively. 

 

Later he joined Aetna International, as Country Manager for India from where he moved to the Middle East with HSBC as General Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and later to Qatar National Bank in Doha, Qatar also as General Manager. 

 

He is presently Director, Astute Investment Management Pvt Ltd. his family owned wealth management company. 

 

He is married to Anuradha, and has two children. His daughter Shikha is Director, Simon-Kucher & Partners, Boston and son Anurag is Vice President, Citigroup, Minneapolis. 

 

Whereas Shikha and Anurag are both involved in voluntary work with NGOs, Anurag is also an athlete having completed the full Ironman at Madison, WI and four Marathons including the prestigious New York Marathon.
