For some strange reason, my career since April 1976 has always been associated with large family owned organisations wanting to strengthen their professional management team. 

 

I was with the Birlas for the first 5 years, then with the Murugappa Group for 13 years, followed by the Rajus for 8 years and have been in Muscat for the last 14 years with the Khimjis. 

 

I have worked in Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Muscat and plan to spend my life post retirement in Bengaluru, the hometown of my better half, Srilata. 

 

We have one son, Aditya, presently based in Singapore. I love to sing and write, have my blog and have an addiction to watching movies. Srilata and I love socialising and being with friends and have an insatiable appetite for travelling.
