Realised early in life that one did not need to slog to achieve above average performance, and this applied to academics as well! 

 

IIMA was an extension of the same way of life – which was academics together with movies, good food, etc. And barring a D in ManAcc - I, a G-Schol at the end of it did not appear too bad!!!

 

Worked in various positions in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and National Thermal Power Corporation and as Consultant to Public Services Energy Group, a power utility based out of New Jersey, USA till 2000. 

 

Pradip and I have a daughter Mohini, a Biomedical Engineer and a Ph. D in Ergonomics. She is now a Senior Consultant at the Ergonomics Centre of North Carolina State University. 

 

I enjoy spending time doing yoga, swimming or at the gym in addition to listening to Sufi music, and of course travelling and looking after the garden at home!
